Supply-chain integration / components / modules / OEM
Magnetic closure OEM integration. Choose your handover.
Your project may need a closure component, a prepared placket or a wider manufacturing discussion. Define the deliverable and the handover point before a quotation.

Cord-on-core format for discussing feed preparation, cut lengths and factory handover.
The engineering decision
The right delivery scope depends on your existing factory’s processes and the product’s inspection requirements. Separate what your team supplies, what the receiving factory completes and who approves the finished product.
Magnetic cord formats
Start with the cord construction.

Parallel segmented cord lengths. Define the sleeve, end finishing and receiving assembly process.

Round cord ends. Document part geometry, matching and end-retention responsibility.
Construction options
Three delivery scopes to discuss.
01 / Components
For teams with an established garment or bag factory. Define the closure configuration, mating identification, packaging and installation information required.
02 / Prepared modules
For a placket, cuff or pocket subassembly. Define supplied fabric, dimensions, finished edges, joining operation and the receiving factory’s final seam.
03 / Garment or bag OEM enquiry
For projects requiring a broader production scope. Submit the tech pack, material responsibilities, quantity and market requirements for feasibility review.
Prepare the sample brief
Put responsibilities into the brief.
| Define | Project input | For the sample review |
|---|---|---|
| Deliverable | Component, module or finished-product enquiry | Describe the handover state and remaining operations. |
| Design | Tech pack, dimensions and controlled revisions | Identify design ownership and approval authority. |
| Materials | Buyer-supplied or sourced materials | Agree substitutions, traceability and acceptance references. |
| Quantity | Prototype, pilot and forecast volumes | Minimum quantities, capacity and commercial terms need confirmation. |
| Qualification | Product, care and inspection requirements | Assign testing, report review and finished-product approval. |
| Delivery | Destination, packaging and target timing | Confirm feasibility and schedule through the quotation. |
Integration sequence
Move from scope to a controlled handover.
Share the scope
Choose the delivery level and describe your existing factory’s capability. Identify the missing operation or information.
Review the interfaces
Resolve materials, patterns, seam paths, joining equipment and inspection responsibilities before sampling.
Approve the sample
Use a revision-controlled prototype, agreed test plan and written feedback. Capture changes before a pilot enquiry.
Define the production handover
Confirm specifications, packaging, records, commercial terms and the responsibilities of each party.
Your next construction
Bring your brief into the sample room.
Share your material stack, installation route and evaluation needs. Sample selection, availability and supply terms are confirmed after review.
Define the evidence
What the sample needs to demonstrate.
Scope and feasibility
An enquiry does not guarantee that every component, process or full-product programme can be supplied.
Factory information
Identify the production site, subcontracting scope, quality plan and testing responsibilities in the project proposal.
Commercial confirmation
MOQ, tooling, sample charges, lead time and any fee credit are confirmed in the quotation; no universal figures are promised.

View construction diagram ↗Before you enquire
Questions worth resolving early.
Can I enquire about a pre-sewn magnetic placket?
Yes. Include the fabric specification, pattern, closure layout, finished edges and the receiving factory’s final joining operation. Feasibility and the proposed supply scope are reviewed first.
Do you offer a fixed low MOQ or sample lead time?
No universal minimum or timing is stated. Quantity, material sourcing, tooling and validation requirements determine the commercial proposal.
Can I send a confidential tech pack?
Start with a brief scope and request NDA review before sharing confidential drawings. Do not send sensitive files through public links.
Can existing overseas factories use the components?
Include the receiving site, equipment and inspection requirements in the review so the installation and handover information can be defined.
